Ten Days Jungle tours

Ten Days Jungle tours

Ultimate Jungle Expedition

Day 1 – Entering the Rainforest

After breakfast in Bukit Lawang, we begin our ascent into the ancient rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park.

The first day gently introduces you to jungle terrain while offering strong opportunities to see wildlife, including:

Wild Sumatran orangutans

Thomas leaf monkeys

Long-tailed macaques

Your first riverside camp is set in a peaceful and scenic location.

Enjoy fresh jungle cuisine and relax to the natural sounds of the forest.

Day 2 – Deeper Into Primary Forest

Today we leave the common trekking routes behind.

The forest becomes thicker and quieter. Towering trees surround you as your guide explains jungle ecology, medicinal plants, and survival knowledge.

A refreshing swim in a clear jungle river completes the day before arriving at a beautiful riverside campsite.

Day 3 – Remote Wildlife Territory

Terrain becomes more adventurous with rolling hills and untouched jungle trails.

This zone offers excellent opportunities to see orangutans in more natural and less visited areas. Early morning brings the calls of gibbons and hornbills echoing through the canopy.

Private dinner and overnight camp by the river.

Day 4 – Expedition Into Elephant Habitat

One of the most exciting stages of the journey.

We enter remote rainforest regions known as natural elephant habitat. These areas are rarely visited and remain truly wild.

If you are lucky, you may witness wild Sumatran elephants moving freely through the forest — a rare and unforgettable moment.

Camp in a quiet, untouched jungle location.

Day 5 – Deep Jungle Immersion

Today we push further into remote primary forest.

The trails are wilder, the silence deeper, and wildlife signs more frequent. This is where the jungle feels completely untouched.

Your connection with the rainforest becomes stronger with every step.

Overnight in a peaceful riverside camp.

Day 6 – Hidden Waterfall & Recovery Day

After several days of expedition trekking, today balances adventure and relaxation.

We hike toward a hidden waterfall deep within the forest. Swim in fresh natural pools, enjoy a jungle shower, and take incredible photographs.

This day allows your body to recover while still exploring pristine rainforest surroundings.

Camp near the river for a peaceful evening.

Day 7 – Remote River Valley Exploration

Follow a scenic river valley trail rarely reached by other trekkers.

This area offers panoramic jungle views and excellent wildlife tracking opportunities. Your guide may identify fresh animal footprints and forest activity.

Camp in a spectacular riverside setting.

Day 8 – Wilderness Beyond the Trails

Today is pure wilderness.

We explore untouched forest zones where very few visitors ever go. The jungle feels deeper, quieter, and more alive.

More opportunities to revisit elephant territory and spot wildlife naturally.

Final deep jungle camp under the rainforest canopy.

Day 9 – Scenic Return & Celebration Night

We begin trekking back using a different scenic route, offering new landscapes and viewpoints.

Along the way, more wildlife encounters are possible.

Your final jungle camp is set in a beautiful riverside location — a special celebration night with fresh jungle cuisine and reflection on your extraordinary journey.

Day 10 – Morning Walk & River Tubing Finale

Wake up to birdsong and flowing water.

After breakfast, enjoy a short final jungle walk before preparing to return to Bukit Lawang.

The adventure concludes with traditional river tubing down the river — an exciting and refreshing finale to your 10-day expedition.

You return with:

A deep connection to nature

Rare wildlife memories

A powerful sense of achievement

A story few travelers can tell
